It’s time to choose your geraniums for your perfect patio containers! Now is the perfect time (indeed, it’s certainly the best time) to order your plants for your fabulous patio containers to enjoy over the coming summer months. It’s chilly out there at the moment but warmer days are coming – days when we’ll be sitting out surrounded by our colourful displays so it’s well worth spending a little time this month to make plans for those brighter, sunnier days. Grab a quiet corner and make your plans for your wonderful patio displays all you will need to enjoy a riot of glorious colour! Here are my favourite geraniums (geraniums - house plant identification ) that will give you superb patio containers – I recommend these to give you a fantastic show of colour this summer! These are the essential plants for your summer garden. Large round flower heads of blooms keep coming all summer long. From trial and error I know which plants perform the best and have brought these together into one collection. A lovely range of colours including red, pink, white, salmon and two tone flowers will give you such a great show. So easy to look after and very reliable – they just keep on flowering. To get more flowers simply give them a feed of plant food weekly which has all the nutrients they need to perform at their best. I love fancy leaf geraniums displayed in containers. As well as enjoying lots of different coloured flowers, it is wonderful with the geranium family that you can also enjoy lots of different foliage colours too!
